Nara Story - A Legacy of Passion
Growing up in Mumbai, Vidhi watched her father Vijay Shah pour his heart into everything he built. His passion was infectious. "My father taught me that business at its best is about serving people, not just selling to them," she recalls. From him she inherited a natural gift for human connection, a compassion that put others first and a firsthand understanding of what it looks like when a business is built on genuine relationships.
When Vidhi founded Nara Fine Jewellery in 2025, those values became the foundation. The entrepreneurial spirit came naturally. She had spent her formative years watching what it truly meant to build something meaningful rather than just profitable.
Today that legacy lives in every corner of Nara. It is why we do not call our customers clients. They are Friends of Nara. It is why Vidhi approaches each piece as a vessel for connection and meaning. Like her father before her she leads with compassion and puts people at the heart of everything, carrying forward a simple truth that the best things in life and in business are always built on love, legacy and genuine human connection.
Our Mission
At Nara, Vidhi brings together her passion for design and craftsmanship with a deeply personal approach to luxury. Each piece is thoughtfully curated, whether featuring natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, or from Nara's exclusive kids' collection—because Vidhi believes that beauty and meaning should be accessible at every stage of life.
"I wanted to create jewellery that becomes part of your story," Vidhi shares. "Pieces you reach for on a Tuesday morning, not just store away for special moments. Jewellery that carries your values, celebrates your individuality, and grows with you."
NARA is about Gifting Happiness.
Building Community Through Creativity
What sets Vidhi apart is her people-first philosophy. A self-described "people's person," she's building Nara on the foundation of genuine relationships and community. Her approach is collaborative and warm, rooted in values of legacy, love, and compassion.
Having lived and worked across India, the USA, Hong Kong, and Singapore, Vidhi draws on a rich tapestry of global influences while staying grounded in what matters most: creating meaningful connections through beautiful, wearable art.
When she's not designing collections or engaging with clients, you'll find Vidhi exploring wellness and Ayurveda, experimenting in the kitchen, or seeking her next adventure—always with an eye toward bringing people together and building communities through creativity.
Meet Vidhi Shah – Founder of Nara
Growing up in Mumbai in a business family, Vidhi's journey has been one of creative exploration across continents. Trained at Mumbai's prestigious Sir J.J. School of Art (where she earned a silver medal) and New York's School of Visual Arts, she spent years honing her craft—from designing visual narratives for weddings in Hong Kong to creating handmade ceramics that taught her the intimacy of form and texture. It was this desire to merge conscious luxury with everyday beauty that led her to found Nara in 2025.
At Nara, Vidhi designs jewellery for life as it's lived—pieces that celebrate the ordinary moments as much as the extraordinary ones. Working with natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, and an exclusive kids' collection, she creates with a singular vision: jewellery that carries meaning, honors individuality, and becomes part of your personal story.
Known for her warm, collaborative spirit and people-first approach, Vidhi is building Nara on values of legacy, love, compassion, and community. Because for her, the most precious thing about jewellery isn't the stones—it's the connections they represent and the stories they hold.In January 2025, Vidhi founded Nara Fine Jewellery in Singapore with a vision that breaks from tradition: jewellery designed for everyday life, not just occasions.
